Wednesday, December 18th - "Private Christmas Party"
Nouveau Marc Retirement Residence in Kenner
Connie's grandparents Rosemary and Joe Bonura live there at the complex, and it's always fun to go and play for them and their neighbors. We had a nice turnout of about 50 people, and everyone sang along. It's a great apartment complex, full of very nice people.

Friday, December 20th - "Private Christmas Celebration and sing along"
Elementary School in Baton Rouge
Those kids are a blast. This year, we played to at least a couple of hundred wonderful kids, all in all. They are very nicely behaved, and enthusiastic and appreciative. We love to play there, because Cath's daughter Wendy (Ms. B) is one of there fantastic teachers.

We'll be showcasing some of our dance set, so come and do some "chair-dancing" at the Neutral Ground! If they had a dance floor, you could do some actual dancing... but chair-dancing is still fun! (Chair-dancing is a phrase "The Con" coined, to indicate what happens when you don't have a dance floor, or don't have a dance partner, and the music is just sooooo awesome you can't keep still in your chair. )
Another super-fun evening at the Neutral Ground. Owner Phil Melancan has done a fabulous job promoting and supporting our local musicians through this great venue. We rocked and rolled the night away!

This was a very good experience, and Cath is getting to be a pro at showcasing her original music. She performed her newest work, title, "Not At All." Richard Carr has been hosting songwriters nights around New Orleans, and we want him to know that we truly appreciate his efforts.

SPECIAL EVENT! Jefferson Bus Stop plays Original Music
Saturday, August 30th, 2003 - 7pm - 8pm
The Neutral Ground Coffeehouse

5110 Danneel Street - New Orleans - 891-3381

Another fun night, full of great people, yummy coffee/teas and tasteful original music! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

Rockin' Oldies!!!
Saturday, September 13, 2003 - 10:00pm - 1:00am
The Mile High Club
Must be 21 to attend (due to video poker)
Now this is the place for a Rockin' Oldies band! They already have a great jukebox but when a live band is playing, it is a blast. There is a long bar as you walk in, and then you get to the stage area, where there are tables and some bleacher-style benches on the wall, keep going and you'll get to the pool table. And to top it off, they also have food! (burgers, wings, fries, pizza)
We want to thank our loyal Metairie/Kenner friends who made the trek all the way out to Tulane Avenue! And the Mile High "regulars" were gracious, fun and a great audiene!

Sad news... As of September 17th, 2003... the Jefferson Bus Stop was taken off the bus route! Yes, it's true, our band had to end the rockin' oldies at this time.

Please be on the lookout for us individually or collectivly in the future!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and cheered us on. We love you guys!

We'll keep the site up for a bit longer.
